  • Updating your books should be done at least monthly to keep track of cash flow, expenses, and tax obligations. However, we offer (and recommend) weekly services.

  • We work with popular cloud-based accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Wave. If you have a preferred platform, we can tailor our services accordingly.

  • Absolutely! We specialize in cleaning up books, reconciling transactions, and ensuring your financial records are accurate and tax-ready.

  • • Personal tax returns: April 30

    • Self-employed tax returns: June 15 (but payments are due April 30)

    • Corporate tax returns: 6 months after the fiscal year-end

  • Yes! If you work from home, you may be able to deduct a portion of rent, utilities, and internet expenses. We’ll help you determine your eligible deductions.

  • Filing late can result in penalties and interest on unpaid taxes. The CRA charges 5% of the balance owing plus 1% per month for up to 12 months. Avoid penalties by filing on time!
